XS-1300 beeps forever, no matter what we do

I have a XS-1300 unit. We purchased it about a year ago and upon plugging it in, it beeps 3 times every minute or so. Powerchute says the unit is fine but the beeping continues. We put it on the back shelf giving up on it and just pulled it out again. I cannot find any info regarding this series of 3 beeps.

Hi Lewis,

I hope you could record the beeps that it makes and upload it here or call our Technical Support Team so that they could hear it over the phone.

While the UPS is beeping three times, what do you notice on the LCD display? Does it tell/show you anything like flashing battery icon? Can you also try to set the sensitivity to a lower value using the PowerChute Personal Edition?
