Which current UPS products keep a log of when the battery is depleted and when it has to turn itself off?

I need a UPS (either "backup" or "smart") that will save a log of when mains power is lost or when the UPS has to turn itself off because its battery is depleted.  I need both of these features.

Will you please let me know which of your current products do this, and if I will have to buy any special cards, options, or accessories for this stored logging to work?

Thank you!

Any Smart-UPS with a SKU ending in a (C) includes the APC Smart Connect dedicated (Green) RJ45 Ethernet port.

This port can only be used and connected to the (Subscription Based) APC Smart Connect Cloud Hosted Portal Service.

As such offers no local control, management, notification. You may use this port for the free six month trial period and see if it meets your long term needs.

If not you can purchase a NMC (Network Management Card) to provide full access, control, management, and notification locally & remotely.

The current supported NMC is the AP9640, 41, 45. The legacy NMC is the AP9630, 31, 35 which is EOL and is no longer supported but continues to receive updates at random times.

The AP9630 / AP9631 can be had for very cheap on eBay vs the retail price. If youโ€™re just a regular home user this is something to consider for the best value / features.

If this is for an enterprise / business than a AP9640, 41, 45 is really the only option for technical support, warranty, and current software development and updates.

Any APC UPS that uses Power Chute Software will track and monitor the conditions you want.

Obviously the computer system running PCSS / PCBE / PCPE must be operating at that time.

Any Smart-UPS system that has a Smart Slot can use the NMC (Network Management Card) for both local & remote control, management, and logging.

Newer systems that support the APC Smart Connect service will also capture and log (limited) information to their cloud based portal subscription service.

All three of the above can also send email notifications upon various conditions you have defined.

OK, I will explain further what I mean and need.

I have a piece of equipment (DUT) plugged into the UPS and powered on.

The UPS is plugged into the 120VAC power outlet, and the DUT is plugged into the UPS.

That is all the connections (wired or wirelessly) that the UPS has.

If I go home with my laptop on Friday and come back to work on Monday. I want to plug my laptop into the UPS via USB port or otherwise and tell by the UPS logs if my DUT lost power at anytime over the weekend.

Thanks!

Given this scenario and use case you would be limited to a APC Smart-UPS line that supports one or both features I noted up above such as Smart Slot / Smart Connect.
