Which UPS better fits my needs??

Probably this question has been answered several times already ....

I need an UPS system to maintain power to my VoIP in case of black out.
I have tried to “UPS selector – Configure by load” tool but result came out with this:

APC Smart-UPS SC 420VA 120V
Runtime: 36 minutes
% of Max Capacity Used: 27%

Should be the runtime higher since I am using only 27% of capacity??
Do I really need something like that??


ONLY the following network equipment will be connected:

LinkSys Wireless-G Broadband Router - WRT54G
LinkSys Cable Modem - BEFCMU10
LinkSys Phone Adapter with 2 Ports for Voice-over-IP - PAP2

For a total of 70W (total amount of watts required by power supply - input)

Any suggestion is appreciated
