Hi can someone tell me the differences between APC 1500VA Back-UPS Pro Sinewave UPS Battery Backup & Surge Protector (BR1500MS) and Back-ups Pro 1500VA 230V Power Saving?
Why one is twice the price of other when they both appears to be same pretty much and both are listed on Amazon US.
What would be your recommendation even though only APC Power-Saving Back-UPS Pro 1500 BR1500GI is available in my country, which I believe is Amazon's second one. Will it be good?
Thanks in advance

Hi Zeeshan,
The main difference between the two is that the newer 'MS' model outputs a pure sine wave while on battery. While compared to the older 'G' model, only outputs a step approximated sine wave while on battery.
As far as pricing goes, the Amazon pricing is not always the best price. Directly off our website the BR1500G is $239.99 USD, and the BR1500MS is only $30 more at $269.00 USD.
Overall, the 'MS' unit would be the "better" unit, but as far as properly supporting your gaming PC, either unit would be fine. Computer power supplies can easily take the step approximated sine wave from the 'G' model with no issues at all. I have a higher end gaming PC myself, and even when running new games at max graphics settings, my computer only pulls 300 - 400 watts, maybe up to 500 watts max. Both model UPS's would easily support that.
