UPS input switcing between 50 and 60hz.
Does APC have any power supplies that will maintain 110V output while the input changes between 50 and 60hz? I currently have an Allen Bradley 1609-B600N (made by APC I believe). The problem I have is there is two AC input sources. One is a generator with 110V 50Hz, and the second is a shore power plug with 110V 60Hz. Once we switch sources the UPS will go to battery backup and stay there until the UPS dies and reboots, then it is fine at the other frequency. But it will not maintain voltage without being rebooted (whether manually or waiting for UPS to die and reboot) at which time its output frequency switches to the new source and it fine. The UPS works fine if switching to same frequency source. I don't mind if the output frequency changes I just want to maintain 110Vac while changing sources. Is this possible?
