Web/SNMP Individual Outlet Control on S20BLK?

Hi,

I recently purchased an S20BLK. According to the manual:

Network Management Card

All 12 outlets can be simultaneously turned OFF or ON via
the NMC, but not independently. This capability will be available December 2006 by
downloading the latest firmware from the APC Web site: www.apc.com/support,
then select Software and Firmware, and click on the NMC Firmware update button.

But I have upgraded the firmware on my unit to 3.72 and do not see individual outlet control settings.

Thanks for any advice!

Thanks for any feedback or advice you can offer. The manual is unclear at best and misleading at worst.

Are there any other solutions for automation? Does the serial protocol do what I need?

Thanks very much for the reply Clarkson! What firmware version are you running?

I am looking for individual (one-at-a-time) outlet control suggested in the manual. Do you have that option in your web interface?

Hmmm....so the manual is incorrect, that functionality was never added? Seems unfortunate for a $2k unit...

I may be able to accomplish what I need with the outlet group control, but I can't get it to work over SNMP. Have you had any luck with that? When I OID walk the device nothing functional enumerates under 318.1.1.1.12 (upsOutletGroups). Is there something I am missing? I am also running 3.72.

Thanks very much!
