In recent days, my BackUPS Pro 650 seems to be shutting itself off. Most recently it did so overnight. There were no power interruptions, and no alerts from the UPS. The next morning, everything was simply off. When I turn the UPS back on, everything appears to be normal. There have been no indications on the UPS that the battery is in need of replacment. Please advise how to resolve this. A UPS that can't provide uninterrupted power service when the line power is still on is of no use. Thanks.

I replaced the battery last week (Tuesday), and it's been operating continuously since then. I thought the problem killed, but then this morning, I found the entire system (including the UPS) in the OFF state. I didn't turn it off, and there was no power interruption over night. There still appears to be a problem!

If you could contact with the Exact Model and Serial Number of the UPS, Last battery replacement date, Exact load connected then it will help to provide you with proper reasons for your issue.

Thanks for the suggestion. The model/serial numbers can be found in a prior post. Most of the items in the document you referenced apply to operation in battery back up mode. The problems I've been experiencing were taking place when no power failure (thus no UPS operation) had occurred. The equipment is connected properly, and had been operating with this UPS configuration for years before. It's been more than a year since I've last replaced the battery, so I'm going to do that now. In the past, the UPS has provided indications of the battery needing replacement. Not this time.
