UTS10BI overloads charging UPS
I have a UTS10BI Transfer switch connected to a 2000 W UPS with pass through charging.
With the UPS connected to the UTS10BI it will successfully backup my power needs. However, if I try to connect the power in for the UPS while it is connected to the UTS10BI , the UPS is overloaded and shuts down. This happens if the UPS is connected to the convenience outlet or to an independent circuit. And It happens when my circuits are not in backup mode and are running on utility power,
Additionally, if the circuit the UPS is connected to is disconnected and so has no power coming to it, the UPS still shuts down from an overloaded.
The circuits connected to The UTS10BI are drawing about 400W and the UPS is rated for 2000W.
