UTS10BI Powering input 2 with a small generator

Hi

I would like to power my UTS10BI (Input2) with a Honda EU2000i generator. The generator has a Max output of 2000 Watts, 17 Amps at 120 volts. If I set the Input 2 power rating at (0-1800Watts) will this generator be OK?
I have a 4000 Watt generator powering Input 1.

The input2 max power rating is 1800 watts. As you said, this may be a good thing. 1800 watts with this little generator will be just enough power to keep the heat on and the refrigerator running during an extended New Hampshire power outage. Thank you for your help. Eddie
