Hey, I just purchased http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101311&Tpk=APC%20BE750G%20750 the other day. Ever since I've hooked it up and installed the software, my mouse / keyboard have periodically been dying for anywhere from five to twenty seconds.
I have a logictech G15 keyboard and my logitech G9 plugs into it. The logitech G15 keyboard is USB, obviously. I've had no issue with either until the day I installed this new UPS.
I'm going to start trouble shooting this, and I was wondering if I can unplug the USB from the UPS without any major consequences (I don't need to know how much charge it has and current wattage every second of the day) to see if this is the cause.
Thanks for any help.

Well, my old UPS also had a USB port to communicate with my computer. No, they're not wireless. No other error messages besides the occasional "can't communicate with the power supply". Going to unplug the UPS USB and see if that fixes it.

yes, you can unplug the USB from the UPS but the software will just tell you that you lost communications with the UPStoo much with this added USB device? that is the first thing that came to my mind based on your symptoms but you didnt mention any other error messages or anything. does the mouse/keyboard power off when this happens? are they wireless and you just have a wireless receiver plugged in? just a few thoughts.
