When I shut PC down overnight or when at work, I will find UPS off (no green light, no power to PC) when I return. I have heard the UPS make a single beep sound when in this off state. After I turn the UPS back on and the PC is turned on, the UPS works correctly, the Power Chute software shows no problems. I realize the battery is old (5-years), but the light to replace battery does not light, and the UPS works correctly during AC power outage.
Any ideas?

Yes just doing a normal shutdown from start menu. This just started a week or so ago. Only heard the beep once.
Update; Have not had this problem the last couple of nights. Maybe a problem with AC line voltage that has been corrected?? It's very odd.
