What UPS should I purchase to use with my Dell XPS 9000? The power supply is rated at 475W and my monitor is 30W. I would like to get a minimum of 5 minutes of run time. I bought a Back-UPS BX1500G and found out that it doesn’t work correctly with my computer. I liked the size and battery power and surge protection outlets in it. Is there something similar to it that will work correctly? Not looking to break the bank on this purchase. I do understand that I need to use a Smart-UPS in order for it to work correctly.
Thanks for the help.

To add to that, the [SMT750|http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=smt750] is the smallest (and cheapest) model in the Smart-UPS family and looks like it should fit your needs, though if you want a bigger model, there is also the [SMT1000|http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=smt1000] and [SMT1500|http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=smt1500]. More expensive though, of course.
