UPS on 0% charge yet showing all green

Hello,

My UPS is connected to an Unraid NAS server running a daemon for APC. My Unraid NAS shows the UPS is at 0% charge and not charging.

Moreover, because of the way the daemon is set, this caused my NAS to reboot every so often.

Since I disabled the daemon everything is fine.

The problem is that the UPS shows a steady green light without any signs of fault.

Is there a way I could connect my UPS to a Windows 10 PC and run some thorough tests to check it for failures, if any?

Note: This UPS has been working with that NAS and the same daemon consecutively for 3 years, and the problem has just started.

Hi,

Is the NAS connected to the CS650 over USB? if so you can install APCUPSD or PowerChute Personal Edition on a Windows PC to monitor the UPS. Either software will give you information concerning charge, run-time, load etc.
