UPS lifespan

i would like to know the lifespan of APC back ups cs650. it has been plugged in for more than 1 year now. anyone? thanks in advance.

the expected lifespan of the battery inside is about 3-5 years but can vary depending on environment, use, etc. the expected lifetime of a UPS itself though is about 5-6 years for most but again it can vary on usage. Some use the same UPS for 10+ years. sometimes depending on how many batteries you go through, it might be worthwhile to upgrade your UPS in between that timeframe to get a new UPS and new warranty.
