UPS Startup Current Draw
Hi!
My client uses APC BX1100LI-MS with only 1 Wifi access point and 1 Media converter as its load. Because power failure happens all the time at the site, they use centralized power generator. And they add 1000VA Servo motor Voltage stabilizer before the UPS and a delay timer before the stabilizer to delay the transition time when the electricity is switched to generator. The problem is sometimes the input fuse of the stabilizer broken when the transition happens. My question is: Is it enough to use 1000 VA stabilizer in front of the 1100 VA UPS? Does the UPS draw power full 1100 VA when power up or switched to electricity source from battery source?
