This can't be right?

When the power is interrupted the UPS kicks in just as it should, no loss of power to the backup sockets, green light on except when unit beeps.  However, about 6-7 seconds after mains power is restored output power is lost to the backup sockets, only for a second or so,  causing everything connected to those sockets to crash!

There doesn't seem to be much support in this Support Forum 😞  I'll return the unit to Amazon for a refund and try another make.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Many of us that monitor the forum have been on holiday.

The unit should not cut power randomly. Question, had PowerChute started the OS shutdown and had the OS powered down and then back up? Another question is, when this happened were you testing the UPS or was this an actual power outage? If it was a test how was the test performed?
