Hello everybody,
I have my A/V appliances connected via a P5B-GR surge arrest. A heavy storm today has made quite some damage on the electric appliances in the house but the surge arrest seems to prevented most of the damage on the A/V electronics. Only the video projector's lamp looks burnt (will see if the replacement solves it).
The surge itself has also sustained some damage - strangely enough the grounding indicator is now off while the protection indicator's green light stayed on.
As I understand there is a life-time warranty for the product and the damage. How should I go about it? All I can see on the surge is a help desk phone number in Ireland...
Thank you
Best Regards
Al

You can visit the APC web site for your country and determine which telephone number you should call. Contacting APC support via telephone should definitely be your next step.
If equipment was damaged when the surge suppressor failed, it may be covered by the unit's protection policy.
