Support for Mac OS X (Snow Leopard v10.6)

When will the APC Powerchute software support Mac Snow Leopard (v10.6)?
We have both PCs and MACs; the Windows software is far more comprehensive and functional.
It sure would be nice to have the same features/functions in the Mac software.

Anyone tried out APC Tracker 4.4 from Apple downloads?
Energy Saver works ok, but logging is very nice to have too.

Yes you can use the Energy Saver app on Snow Leopard to communicate and manage the UPS.

You cannot adjust the UPS alarms without PowerChute so you would unfortunately need to install PCPE on a Windows machine to turn off any battery related alarms. Doing this will not shut off all alarms, however, so if there is an internal fault, overload, etc. the unit will still make noise.

I am using Snow Leopard on a Mac. The energy saver pane allows me to adjust a few settings, but I can't get rid of the annoying replace battery beep! It will be several days before I receive my replacement battery from APC and I may go insane from this incessant beeping long before then.

How do I turn the alarm off but still keep the APC running?

Jeff

We have no plans to create a PowerChute Personal program for Mac OS X in the near future. The Mac native support program (Energy Saver) does just about all the critical functions that PCPE would perform, and it's perfectly integrated with the OS, so PCPE has been deemed unnecessary. Demand for PowerChute for Macs hasn't been overwhelming, probably due to the Energy Saver app.
