I've been using a Line-R 1200 to power my PC for several years without any issues. Today, however, the Line-R unit did not power up with the power button, so I did some basic trouble shooting to attempt to find out what was at fault and discovered that if I unplugged the pc from the Line-R, then plugged in the power to the Line-R, it would power up (and stay powered) ok. However, if I leave the PC plugged into the Line-R, then turn the power button on, it refuses to power up.
Does this suggest that there's something at fault with the PC power supply that the Line-R is detecting (and thus not powering up), or is the Line-R unit at fault?

Hi jammin606, If the Line R has been in use for a long time and the symptoms have just started to occur I would say it is moist likely an issue with the Line R itself. You could try to move the Line R to another wall outlet or location to make sure it it is not an input power issue, but besides that there not too much as far as troubleshooting goes when it comes to the Line R units.

If the symptoms are the same and the device is under warranty, you can contact support for a warranty replacement.
Does it operate the same way as the original poster's unit in regards to staying powered if you remove the attached load and then turn it on?

Hi Angela,
Thanks for your reply! Fortunately the unit started to work normally again. I hope there won't be any problems with it in the future as it's out of warranty.
