Standard Wall socket with high wattage pc and lcd monitor
I am running my 1200watt pc(with the following specs listed below) and my 117watt Dell 3007WFP Flatpanel monitor from a surge protector that is rated 1875watts. I have not really had any problems but I would like to setup the monitor so if there is a power goes out then I do not have to reset the brightness on the monitor.
What would be the best solution if I just wanted 10 minutes?

I thought of just connecting the PC to the surge protector I already have and running that to one wall socket then connecting everything else(500watt pc speaker system, 25watt printer, 22watt router, 3.51watt phone, and 9 watt cable modem) including the 117watt 3007WFP to a UPS that would total about 680watts to a separate wall socket.
