I have a SmartUPS C1000 that is displaying code L.01 on the front panel - the UPS seems to be working normally otherwise. What does this code mean - I cannot find reference to it in the owners manual or in my online searches.
Thanks

The owner's manual says the meaning of this code is "LifeTimeNearEnd". What I don't know is, does this refer to the batteries or the unit as a whole.

I have replaced the battery and the code is still there. Is there anyway to reset unit after battery has been changed?

I reset the rb1 variable and rebooted the unit. I briefly saw the full battery status, but the unit returned to the L.01 code displayed. What can be the issue? Thx.

Did you actually replace the RBC or just attempted to clear the active error?!? If the RBC was not replaced than you can use this APC FAQ to mute the error:
https://www.se.com/us/en/faqs/FAQ000260345/
If the RBC is indeed EOL it must be replaced as changing RB1 flag will have no impact (IF) the RBC continues to fail the weekly Self Test! βοΈ

You may consider performing the Brain Dead Reset and report back the results:

As an aside please confirm via Power Chute software the battery installation date if available. If present use the application to change and update the same.
