Hi,
We have a Shuttle XS35 mini PC and would like this to shut down on power outage then restart when power is restored.
We have a Back-UPS 550 and shut down is great via Powerchute and the USB connection but cannot get it to restart automatically.
We have conifigured the BIOS to power up after an outage but this is not reliable. Possible issues are that it runs on a 12v Transformer so after a short outage there is sufficient residual voltage in the Power Supply that the PC is not recognising the outage / restoration.
Any ideas appreciated!

Hello. Sorry for the delay. I asked around for a few ideas on how to avoid or narrow down where the issue is.
Starting the shutdown sooner might allow the power supply to experience more time without power, helping to ensure a clean restart. Another idea - can you test your PC without a UPS to see if it reliably restarts and what duration of "no power is required" to achieve a clean restart?
Back UPS are not very customizable in this department with delays and stuff but if it was an option, a different type of UPS may offer this depending on what you require.
