I just received an email titled "Roger, we miss you", apparently from APC. The sender address was apc@apc.chtah.com. This raises several concerns. First, if it's legitimate I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it coming from a non-APC domain. It smells "phishy", if you know what I mean.
Second, if it's legitimate, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with APC tracking whether or not I open their messages (actually I don't usually open them but I do scan them in preview mode). The text says, "...we noticed that you haven't opened our PowerNews e-mail newsletter in 6 months. PowerNews offers the latest product information and great promotional offers."
Any comments?
Roger
