SX650G Does not turn on after battery dies.

I have a SX650G and when the battery has expired a long tone sounds. The UPS turns off, when power comes back on the long tone still sounds and the UPS does not turn back on. The battery protected plugs don't come back on but the non battery plugs do. I have to push and hold the power button down to turn it off. Then push and hold again to turn back on.

It is not hooked up to a computer.

Hi,

That unit will not power up fully if the battery is dead. Depending on the age you can replace the battery or trade it in for a new unit.
