I have 2 of these that have worked just fine since installation in October 23.
Today we have lost power due to the storms in Dallas. My generator kicked on and has been running for the last 10 hours. During the afternoon, within an hour of each other, both units made a loud pop and died. Please help!

Given the unit was installed in 2023 the hardware should be under APC warranty. Give them a call to see what can be done as a break fix vs RMA.
I don’t believe there is a breaker in the back on this unit so check. If not, and both units show no signs of life while plugged into AC Mains.
You can see what happens when you cold boot the system. Remove all connected loads from the output. Unplug the unit from AC mains.
Turn on the unit and see if the LCD comes on and you hear a few relay clicks. Since you heard a loud pop from both units an internal fuse must have blown open.
Let us know what you find when you try a cold boot. Along with how things turn out with the RMA process. 👍

Thank you for your suggestions. There are reset buttons for 2 of the outlet groups but they haven't tripped.
I did as you suggested.. Removed all connected loads and unplugged. Both units are dead.
Removed the batteries from the unit to see if there was discoloration or 'sooting' around the batteries and they look clean. However inside the shell of the unit there is a very strong odor-smells similar to the encasement material around transistors/power transistors. Other people may call it the electrical smell. If that helps.
This is the first time the units have been called into action since install.
Could you point me to the RMA/Repair process. I been looking for support/assistance and haven't been lucky so far.
Thanks again for your help.
