Hello,
I need to deploy a UPS to power a peritoneal dialysis machine, so the patient is not awakened in the middle of the night, in case of a power outage.
Is it possible to configure the UPS to NOT beep when the power is interrupted, since the purpose is to not wake up the patient?
Thanks for your help.

It would be helpful to know the specific APC UPS you're asking about. As some units allow the end user to disable the beep while others do not. Having said this depending upon model / firmware fatal errors or faults can not be silenced! ☝️
Internal faults like relay weld, over temperature, battery fault, building wiring fault, etc. These and many more will *Beep* when the fault occurs and can be muted. But, they can not be permanently disabled from sounding out.
