SMX3000+ext. Battery: Which battery is defective?

Hi,

we are using Smart-UPS X 3000 SMX3000RMHV2U plus 2x SMX120RMBP2U.

It uses 1x RBC117 and 4x RBC118.  If a battery fails, how do we find out which of these batteries failed?

The UPS and external battery packs are designed to report which of them has a faulty battery inside.  You'd be able to know which one needs to be replaced and/or foresee which one is nearing the end of life through the LCD panel of the UPS.
