Can I run two BX1000 units on a home 15 amp circuit? How about two on a 20 amp circuit?

I understand. As you can tell, my knowledge in this area is limited to say the least.
Let me put it another way. If nothing is attached to the UPSes (i.e. they are simply charging themselves from the circuit) can I plug two into a 15A circuit? Another way of asking this is how much power does each unit draw while recharging assuming no external load is present on the UPS?

The 2 BX1000s would draw less than 1 amp combined if they were charging with no load attatched. You should have no problem plugging both units into the same circuit as long as the total draw of the UPSs, and whatever else may be running on that circuit does not exceed the capabilities of the circuit.

OK, that sounds great.
I'm using PowerChute Personal Edition V2.0 to monitor the UPSes. Is the "Current Status" "Load on Battery Backup" thermometer accurate? In other words if I keep the "Load on Battery Backup" below 600 Watts on each UPS then I should have no problem running them both from one 15A circuit, right? 600 Watts is roughly 5A, right? So two UPSes drawing no more than 5A should be safe, correct?

That should work out fine. The only thing you may need to consider is in rush current for the devices attached if you plan on powering them off and on. The chargers in the units themselves are only 23 watts, so they units themselves will not add much load to the circuit.
