Hi,
I installed the PowerChute software on my PC (which is running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate). As I didn't like the lack of options and control that the PowerChute software exhibits, I uninstalled it.
Now my Windows 7 doesn't show anymore the extra power options that used to be active before installing PowerChute. I'm refering to all the power options for turning off devices (it used to allow me to change the times for online and offline power), as well as the Power tray icon.
What did PowerChute do to my system? How can I restore the UPS support that I used to have?
FYI, the UPS itself is still detected.

Well, I solved the issue by restoring my Windows the the restore point created before the PowerChute software was installed.
Anyway, I'm still curious to know what happened to my system that disabled the options for the "On Battery" state.
