Rack Mount UPS with least fan noise

I'm in the market for a rack mount UPS for an domestic office setting. Noise level of the UPS is a critical factor in the purchase, and unfortunately the APC website is grossly inadequate (if not misleading) in explaining the actual running noise levels for normal usage; even the Back-Up range is listed at 45 dBA giving little comprehension that in normal usage they make little (if any) noise until on battery.

I need the fan to not be running at all in normal usage if possible; of course, self-tests and running on battery are acceptable conditions where I would expect the fans to be on! The UPS is only there to support graceful shutdown of two NAS servers and a RS500 was doing the job before more than adequately - but it's given up the ghost now. For space reasons a rack mount option would now be best for me.

Are there any APC UPS that fill my criteria (and can be purchased in the UK) or should I shop elsewhere for another brand?

SMX750, SMX1000, and SMX1500RM2U are 2U rack mount units that turn off the fan under normal conditions (input voltage is normal, not executing self-test or runtime calibration, battery temperature is normal).

Not sure if there's a UPS that fits your need (maybe someone else here knows) but APC has [soundproofed racks|http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=468] for such environments. Specifications are here.
