Hi Forum!
just been donated 3x RS500 UPS. After downloading basic manual, charged batteries for 8 hours which still produced no front panel LED's when attempting to power on UPS. The batteries hold a minimal charge from .6v - 1.8v. - would this prevent the unit powering on.... do I just need to replace the batteries or are they units faulty?
thanx

Yep, think the units have been sitting in a cupboard for some time. Will check for agent/ distributor for replacement battery here in South Africa.
Thanx

Definitely... without a good battery the units won't turn on. Sounds like they've been sitting around w/o charging for a bit.
