Hello.
I purchased and installed an APC Back-UPS Pro BR1000G yesterday. Serial Number 4B1814P26946. This is one of many APC Back UPS I own.
After installing, attaching load and leaving plugged in for 24 hours, my battery level stays at 2 bars.
Could this be a battery issue or a unit/calibration issue?
Any thoughts?
Thank you.
Bill

Hi Bill,
It's difficult to say exactly what the issue might be here. I would recommend first trying to clear the MCU of the unit. The process is to unplug the unit from the wall, disconnect the internal battery and push and hold the On/Off button for 5 secs. Once you perform this, you can reconnect the battery, plug the unit into the wall and turn it on. The unit will first perform an Online Self-test and will then return to normal operation. If the battery bar graph is still only showing two bars, I would recommend placing a small load on the unit, unplug it from the wall and discharge the battery completely. Once the unit has turned of, disconnect the load, plug the UPS back in to the wall and allow it charge overnight.
