Problem with MikroTik and UPS APC Backup BX1600MI-GR
Hello, I have a monitoring problem between RB960PGS and UPS APC BX1600MI-GR. The router sees the UPS and shows its parameters, but in the Mikrotik logs it constantly spits out UPS Power on and then Power off for a minute. I think that the problem is something in the communication, because the USB of UPS is 1.10, and of RB it is 2.0. I read in the forum, the communication problem was solved with a simple Usb Hub 2.0, I bought one, but the result is the same. I wanted to have monitoring on it, and that was one of my important requirements when buying the UPS, but that's exactly what didn't work as it should.

Can you provide some images of what you see from the router?!? Also, how does the router communicate with the UPS?!? Are you using a third party application like APCUPSD, NUT, WinPower, Other? To have a base line I would install Power Chute Personal Edition (PCPE) on to a computer and see how it behaves.
If you see no problems this affirms the cable and the UPS is operating as intended. If it doesn't operate as expected than you found your problem(s) because its either the cable, UPS, Both. If we just assume it works perfectly fine using PCPE software while connected to a computer. The most common issues I've seen with third party UPS applications are drivers. Next, is selecting the wrong type of connection whether it be USB, Network, SNMP, etc.
It goes without saying defining the type of UPS and how its interconnected (USB / Network) in the application is paramount in hopes of seeing success. Given, you obviously have a connection and see something in the Router it could be just a timing issue that needs to be adjusted in whatever software you're using to connect to the APC UPS.
Just so you know I can't see any image you've posted besides a triangle box! ☹️
