So, I got this thing probably at least a year or two ago and just started having problems. Firstly, the battery indicator is empty and flashing, but does not display anything that would indicate there is a problem with the battery. This is odd, considering I had left it off overnight, just as I had every night. When I originally got this, I had a similar problem where the new battery did not appear to be charging, but when I left it off and plugged in overnight, the following morning it was fully charged. But I digress. Secondly, whenever I try to turn my PC on (which is plugged in to the Back-UPS), after about 10 seconds or so the device makes a clicking noise and shuts off, beeping continuously and displaying the error "F02." Occasionally for some weird reason I hear it click and then for a second or so it displays the battery as full before clicking again and returning to empty. I've tried unplugging the device then plugging it back in, and even switching the plug to the other outlet. I also tried unplugging everything from the Back-UPS then plugging them all back in while the device was off. Miraculously, when I turned it back on, the display showed the battery as fully charged and was showing the "bad battery" indicator. Naturally, I ran a manual self-test and the indicator went away. When I then tried to turn my PC on, the same thing happened again. After restarting the Back-UPS again the display went back to showing the battery as empty and since then I have tried doing the same thing to try and recreate this oddity but am unable to. This is becoming increasingly frustrating.
Brief summary of troubleshooting I have tried so far:
-unplugging then plugging back in
-plugging in to a different outlet
-unplugging all devices from the Back-UPS then plugging them back in
-performing a self-test
-removing the battery then putting it back in
-leaving it off for a while then turning it back on to see if it has charged at all
-messing with the sensitivity

Update: I decided I'd try turning on my computer again, and it worked. My computer even had to restart to install an update and the Back-UPS still didn't screw up. However, the battery indicator is still empty and blinking.
