I own 9 APC 1500 Pro units. last evening there was a lightning strike close by and the AC power "bounced". one unit would not power up unplugged all, changed battery, checked breakers, but when i press the power button to turn on it lights up the unit until i release the button then nothing, no error codes, ac power at plug is good. any idea

Thank you for reaching out to the SE Community, my name is Jon and I will assist you with this query. Apologies for the late revert, from the way that you have described it, it appears that the unit has sacrificed itself.
If the UPS is within 3 years from the date it was purchased, I recommend that you reach out to your local support for further troubleshooting and/or replacement if it is within the warranty period.
