Hello all,
I just install a BX2200MI in France attached to a PC running linux.
I have also installed powerchute linux in French on that PC. Connecting to it as advised give a strange screen that I do not undestand.

I assume you are trying to install Linux version of PowerChute Serial Shutdown? This is not going to work with your BX2200MI. There is no support yet in the Linux version for the USB PowerSummary protocol used for communicating with Back-UPS models. The Compatibility Chart also mentions Back-UPS are not supported with Linux.
You might want to try with Apcupsd.
