Powerchute Personal can not install without usb for old rs232 conection

The installation is interrupted in the process because it does not detect a device on the USB channel. How can I complete the installation and then configure the RS232 path?

PowerChute Personal Edition only works with Back-UPS and only supports USB connections. Installation will fail if no USB-connected Back-UPS is detected. PowerChute Serial Shutdown software replaces PowerChute Personal Edition and supports Back-UPS and Smart-UPS models. Most Smart-UPS models support both USB and serial connection. If you have a Smart-UPS connected to a serial port then PowerChute Serial Shutdown should detect it during installation.

What is your UPS Model and SKU (see sticker on the bottom or back of the UPS)?

I need to properly configure the SURT2000XLI equipment, also calibrate it, since the new batteries are not recognized when fully charged. What piece of software should I use to adjust the UPS parameters? Thank you very much.

I'm no expert on battery replacement issues and new batteries not recognized. Maybe other experts in this forum can help you with that. Or contact APC support. PowerChute Serial Shutdown is definitely the software to use for configuring your UPS and performing battery runtime calibration (from the Diagnostics page). The discontinued PowerChute Personal Edition software is only intended for usage with Back-UPS models, and will not work correctly with your SURT2000XLI.
