hi!!!i am planning to buy an UPS shortly. my loadr as follows
1.Desktop

Depending on the wattage i shortlisted BR1000IN(i live in India)..would this be the appropriate one or should i go for 1500in,,,i just want to protect my computer from powercuts,,5mins backup time is sufficient for me.Thanx in advance.

hmm well i looked quickly and saw the max power rating on that power supply was 500 watts and the monitor consumes about 75 watts. i am sure the PC wont draw 500 watts all the time but do you know if we can find out if its an active power factor corrected power supply?
depending on your findings on that, I think the BR1000IN will be okay for what you need.
