Permanently Disabling Alarm Noise

I have a fairly old Back-UPS Pro 500, it's on its third or fourth battery and still works fine.

The only problem that I've ever had is that it makes an obnoxious noise. The UPS that I used previously had a switch to disable the alarm.

For crying out loud, the thing is in my house. If there's a power failure I know because the lights go out! I don't need a beep to tell me that I don't have power.
