PCBE 10 web login fails "HTTP 400 Host does not match SNI"

Smart-UPS 1500 with USB connection to Windows 11 x64. PCBE 10.05.301 (latest) installs and runs in browser at https://<MyPC-IP>:6547 OK. However, when I reboot the computer, the browser then refuses to login to PCBE, giving the error "HTTP400. Host does not match SNI".

Firewall has exceptions for pcbeagent.exe on TCP and UDP allowing outbound traffic generally, and allowing inbound traffic from the local trusted zone LAN. I have not specified port 6547 (is this

Chrome, Firefox, Edge all give the same error.

Using MyPC-ip either as PC-name or PC-IP still give the error

Re-installing PCBE fixes the problem for the current session only

Edit: I failed to state that I click through the browser security warnings and that I have followed APCC instructions about adding a Security exception in Windows via the Certificate Store. This does not stop the error when I try to login to the PCBE interface after a reboot.

@Labdoc

When this happens, stop and then restart the PowerChute service. Using the command prompt as an administrator, enter net stop apcpbeagent and net start apcpbeagent.

If that does not resolve the issue, stop the PowerChute service. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\APC\PowerChute Business Edition\agent and remove the keystore file, then restart the PowerChute service.

Hi @BillP

Thanks for the net stop / start tip.  I made a batch file, saved to System32, and placed a shortcut in a convenient place to run as admin.

I had figured out to delete the keystore file, but the net stop/start is more convenient.
