P11VT3MP6 vs. P11VT3

I noticed that a certain warehouse store sales the "P11VT3MP6" - it looks just like the P11VT3. However, the specs (what limited ones are there) do not match up and you can't find the P11VT3MP6 on the website at all (or tech specs on it).

Does anyone have the full spec list and know what the actual difference is?

I did notice that the MP6 version carries a $300k component warranty compared to the P11VT3 having a $100k. Other than that, the voltages/joules don't match.

Thanks in advance - I did search here but couldn't find this model at all.

I've noticed the same thing. I bought two of the APC P11VT3MP6 units from Sam's Club on the strength of the specs of the P11VT3, and the specs are different. The specs listed earlier in this thread are correct and come from the box of the Sam's Club units. Also, there is a noticeable lack of specs in the P11VT3MP6 package and on the APC website. The only info on APC's website for the MP6 is the User's Manual. Are these units dumbed-down for sale at Sam's Club by APC, or just badly misidentified? I have not connected them up yet.

Thanks Clarkson for the info. I'm most concerned about differences in the let-through voltage and response time (if any) between the two units. I noticed that the specs for the P11VT3 are pretty complete on the website, whereas there is no web data for the P11VT3MP6 at all, and what is listed on that units box is both minimal and inferior to the "real" P11VT3. In your opinion, are the two units in any way comparable? The price difference of $16 for the Sam's Club unit is inconsequential if the protection values are not nearly equal. Would you let your daughter buy a P11VT3MP6?
If I might ask one more recommendation: What APC protection would you recommend for a 46 in. Sony LCD digital television? It will not be cable connected but will be intermittently internet connected (only during use). I live in a moderately electrically active area of Tennessee and in an older house with questionable electrics (I have poor light bulb life). Reason for immediate concern is a lightning surge that came through the telephone line. APC saved my computer equipment but the unprotected answering machine was toast.
Thanks again for your concern and advice.

Thanks Clarkson for posting the specs. I think that I will opt for the better protection of the P11VT3. I'll keep one of the other units for my telephone though.

What APC surge protection unit would you recommend for a large digital LCD television and BluRay player? I live in a moderately electrically active area, in an older house with probably marginal wiring (I have poor light bulb life). The equipment will not be connected to cable, and only to internet when in specific use. I might as well buy protection for everything now. APC saved my computer equipment from a phone line spike. I'm sold on y'all .
