I have a UPS ES 400.
I think there is something not right, as the only light which is lit is the lower green one next to the power button. The "Power ON" light is not lit, neither is the "Replace Battery" light.
I have a number of devices plugged into both sides, and all work OK.
The unit is plugged into the wall socket.
When I turn off power at the wall socket, the unit beeps 4 times every 30s and the green light next to the power button flashes.
So the unit seems to be working OK - but I understand that the Power ON light should be lit.
I thought there may have been an overload, so I powered off, disconnected battery, held Power for 5s and reconnected battery as I had read in another post to reset memory. No difference.
Is this a problem, or is it OK?
thanks

The BE400-UK has only 1 LED, which is directly located next to the On/Off button. Above this LED and Button is a Legend which explains the function of this LED. A Solid LED indicates the unit is Online receiving utility power. The Green LED will turn off during the 4 beeps associated with the unit being On Battery and will be off all together when the UPS has been turned off.
The unit's operation is discussed in much greater detail in the User Manual.

As far as I know it is still the current unit - this one I think:

The sticker on the back says BE400-UK

Thanks for the message. I would never have got that from the manual - The Power On and Replace Battery Indicators point to the green and red dots above the power button, which I assumed were the LEDs...
