One of my client's Back-UPS Pro 1300 units had a flashing battery icon with an "X" thru it. This morning, I replaced the battery with a new one. After installation, the battery icon was still flashing with an "X" thru it.
Does it take some time for the battery to charge for that flashing and "X" to go away, or does that mean we have a different issue with the APC Power Saving Back-UPS Pro 1300 unit?
Thanks for your assistance!
- Rick

Hi,
When the battery was replaced was the UPS powered down or did you hot swap? If hot swapped you should run a self-test on the unit to allow it to see the new battery.
