Just a thought.....How about replacing the plastic trap doors on the top of the SX racks with brushes? Perhaps a few dividers running perpendicular to the long axis so cables wouldnt bunch up at one end.

Hey k-dog,
I see the idea behind using the brush in place of the plastic trap door. I can't promise that we'll revise a current line or future lines to contain this, I can offer that I'll forward the suggestion to our development engineers.
We do have a revision roof in plans that will have longer slots as you mentioned to prevent cable bunching at ends.
Thanks.

Those brushes would only fill in the gaps left over by the existing SX hard roof cable slots.

True, thats really what Im really looking for. Most of the time the little doors are left all over the floor during delivery or a major rack deployment. The only thing more would be to make them standard on the SX racks assuming they are fastened securely.
