Hi... just wondering is there a simple solution to get 24 hours of uptime on a ups for only 25 watts of usage. When we get black outs or brown outs.. they happen in burst of 24 hours period... just need to have appropriate coverage for that unit.
thanks

Hi Michael,
I’m unsure of your country so won’t send a direct link.
If you go to apc.com and select your country.
Go to support > Resources & Tools (Tools & Selectors) > UPS > Select “server room and network closet” and configure by load.
Add your required load (25 Watts in your post) and continue.
You then have the option to change the runtime to 24 hours and “apply” There are some options for you to consider.
I would recommend adding a little for future expansion.
Its not an ideal condition to run a UPS with such low load. They always perform better towards 80% loading.
I hope this helps.

Our UPS' are generally not designed to give that much runtime. You would need to purchase a HUGE UPS with multiple external battery packs. It would be more cost effective to purchase a generator. Depending on your input requirements, it may be technically possible to get a UPS to give you this runtime but it will be very large/heavy/expensive.
