My UPS beeps every 30 seconds even though nothing is plugged in

Hello,

I got an APC ES 500 about 3 months ago. It was going well until now. When I turn it on, i get 4 beeps every 30 seconds. So i checked the manual and found out that it was powering on battery. So i turned if off and check the cables. It was plugged in correctly and there is power. So I tried unplugging my PC and LCD and tried turning it on but same thing happened it beeps every 30 seconds. What do you suppose my problem is?

Yes, I have tried plugging the UPS in different outlets in our house and it still has the same problem. Regarding the Circuit Breaker, i don't know if its tripped or not, the button is soft to touch and it does not do anything when I press it.

If you think that the input power is normal to the UPS, then there must be an issue with the UPS circuitry. Please call in the regional APC Customer Care Center for further troubleshooting and to get the replacement unit if your unit is under warranty.
