Malfunction Smart-UPS1500

Hello,
i have a Smart-UPS1500. That's work fine to last Week. I ordered a new Battery. When i disassemble the Front-Panel my UPS klicking often and the Relays snared. The Flat-Cable was defect. I replace the Battery and turn on my UPS. But the UPS klicks and the Led's at the Front flashes short. I show on my UPS with Telnet and the EEPROM from the UPS has lost the Datas. No Manufacturer-Date; Serial-Number; Error in the Firmware-Revision ect. Many Time later i have write the Manufacturer-Date; the Serial-Number and the Firmware-Revision back in the UPS. But now the UPS think's is an US-Model with 120V Input.
Why can i change the Country-Code from the UPS? I have a Description of the Programming-Parameters a-z, but not from the Parameters 0-9.
I need the correct Data from all Paramenters for the Model that's fit's Germany.
Please help me.

Wow, this is the first time that I've heard someone went beyond and did that. I'm glad to hear that you were able to make your UPS work fine again.

My UPS now is working fine. I became a another Smart-UPS 1500. From this i desoldered the SMD-EEprom and soldered it of an DIL-Adapter. I read out the Data with an Programmer and save the File on my PC. The Next i Edit the File with the Serial-Number of my Smart-UPS and write the Data back in a DIL 93C56. I soldered on the Place from the SMD-EEprom Wires to an DIL-Socket. In this i put the DIL-EEprom, install the Battery and turn on my UPS. And this works fine.

You could try contacting APC technical support by email. Provide both the model and serial numbers from the label on the unit and see if they can provide you the data you need to enter. I believe some of the values are calibration data for the individual UPS, so simply using the data from another UPS of the same model and similar serial number won't necessarily work 100%.
