I've had my J35 conditioner and battery backup for just under 5 years now. It's starting to have some issues though - it will randomly go from the blue "all's fine" screen to the red "something's wrong." When i reset it, it will briefly display an error message. A few weeks ago it was a battery fault, but a restart resulted in the good blue screen, and the self test said it passed. This morning when I saw it in red state again, I restarted it, and it said there was a Charger Fault, and upon restart it "skipped" the self test. Do I need to be concerned about end of life replacement, or is there some way I can check if this is only a battery replacement issue or something other simple fix?

Hi Michael,
Looks like battery might be the issue here. If you have an identical working unit then try to swap the batteries to confirm the issue. I don't think there is much troubleshooting left to perform as you already performed some troubleshooting on it. Contact technical support on 800-800-4272 to check the warranty status on this product.
