I have an event coming up on 10/29/08-10/31/08 in a courtroom setting that may require a UPS capable of supporting a workstation (~250w), 22" flat panel display (~50w), and a (max) 400 watt projector. I'm guessing about 700 watts total.
I don't need to buy one at this time. Can anyone tell me where (if anywhere) I can rent an APC server/small datacenter UPS for a week? Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks I will give them a try. My first thought was one of those "star power" companies that supplies mobile generators for movie productions, but they don't have too many of those in northern california.

being an employee of APC, i personally, have never heard of a place that does that but its certainly a good idea.
i did a little investigation and heard that is possible that one of APC's resellers, CDW, would possibly do this. i am sure you may have heard of them at www.cdw.com so i guess its worth a try to check them out.
hope this helps!
