Input voltage displayed is higher than wall outlet
- I have a BX1500G UPS that is almost one year old. I am using Power Chute version 2.2
The input voltage on the LCD display shows 122-124 volts (fluctuates) and 268-270 watts. This is not normal for my system. I usually show 120 volts input and 277 watts (during normal operations) consistently. Watts of course increase if I play a game, etc. The output voltage from the UPS shows 122-124 volts as well.
Wall outlet measured with a multimeter shows exactly 120.0 volts AC.
Why has this changed? I did have to reinstall Power Chute 2.2 yesterday (after Windows 7 reinstallation). After the reinstall, the display read the usual numbers, if I remember correctly. A self-test right after having installed Power Chute was successfull.
